PsychDoctor is intended primarily for professionals in the field of Forensic Psychology, both mental health and legal professionals. The site is owned and controlled by the site administrators, however the site is intended to function fluidly to accomodate itself to the needs and purposes of those using the site.
Lay people may also find useful information here.
THE SITE IS ORGANIZED IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:
Forensic--This area contains four basic kinds of information.
1. Legal standards in forensic psychology issues.
2. Psychological evaluation of various legal issues.
3. Mental illnesses reviewed.
4. Links to psycho-legal information.
Join--You can join PsychDoctor and receive member benefits. Click on each of the membership categories to determine benefits.
Members--Member login page. Or members can use the login at the top of the page.
Research--Premium and Web Site Members can use PsychDoctor to conduct their own survey and/or correlation research.
Training--This area contains continuating education and training information.
Newsletter--A regular newsletter of interest to forensic evaluators to be published here.
Bulletin Board--Can be used by all members to post announcements, comment in forums, run simple polls. Register with the Bulletin Board. Membership on PsychDoctor does not automatically register you. Put username and password (both can be same or different from PsychDoctor) in order to use. Bulletin board is maintained off site by the phpBB Group. PsychDoctor webmaster controls BB.
